Teen Read Week 2014

To celebrate and honor YALSA’s Teen Read week October 12 – 18th, I’m holding a giveaway!

YALSA - Young Adult Library Services Association - has been holding a 'teen read week' every year since 1998 and it's held annually during the third week of October. The purpose? To encourage teens to be regular readers and library users - sounds like a great idea to me!

To find out more visit http://teenreadweek.ning.com/ and YALSA - Young Adult Library Services Association at http://www.ala.org/yalsa/

And now onto the giveaway…

What do you like to read and where do you get your books?
Comment below and your name will be entered into a random drawing for one of two prize packs!

Prize Pack #1:

• Copy of my ebook novella ‘Newbie Nick’ published by Lycaon Press (formats for Kindle, Kobo and Nook)

Prize Pack #2:

• Copy of ‘Not Your Mother’s Book – On Cats’ published by Publishing Syndicate which features one of my stories about – you guessed it – cats!

  1. What an excellent idea! I'd be lost without the library. I use it all the time. I know a big part of why I love to read comes from my mom taking me to our local library from a young age. Libraries are magical places!

  2. Hi, Lisa! I mostly read contemporary romance, women's fiction and YA. I buy both print books and eBook, and I borrow books from the library. I try to support local indie books as much as possible, and I also shop at my favorite second-hand book store, Russell Books.
